Project Overview: Horwath HTL Russia & Hungary have been requested by the financing bank to evaluate Russia’s first international quality Theme Park project in Sochi and make recommendations for the final concept, assess the market and prepare financial projections for this landmark attraction. Following our first assignment in 2012 we have also prepared an update report in 2013 to re-evaluate the project’s feasibility in light of the changes in concept since the original plans.


Horwath HTL Solution: In order to assess Russia’s first international quality theme park project we have conducted extensive market research, including several discussions and negotiations with renowned theme park attraction manufacturers and operators. Furthermore, we have prepared and analysed customer surveys collected from all parts of Russia to evaluate the consumer trends. The expert report provided invaluable assistance for the financing institutes in their time sensitive decision making and aided the developer in the implementation of project phasing.

Status: Assignment completed in 2012 and 2013. Theme park has been in operation since 2014.
