Overview: Our Client (TriGránit Real Estate Company) was contemplating a luxury resort on Long Island, near Mahe. We have been involved in the project from the planning phase and provided extensive market research and financial feasibility studies, including several updates in the last ten years. We were also requested to find the most appropriate international operator and brand for the proposed resort. Recently we have been tasked to assess exit potential and received sale mandate for the subject resort.
Horwath HTL Solution: In the first phase we have selected Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts to manage the proposed ‘one island one resort’ facility. We also successfully completed management contract negotiations and provided support throughout the entire contract negotiations process. In the following phases we have prepared updated feasibility assessment reports. Recently. during the exit potential assessment phase, we have prepared valuation for the entire resort and have been negotiating with potential buyers on behalf of our Client.
