Horwath HTL Solution: Roza Khutor is a large-scale upmarket ski resort development near Krasnaya Polyana, approximately 70 km from central Sochi. It was aimed to become the leading ski destination in Russia. The designated sites of the three key development areas comprise several hotels, according to international standards. Our task was to evaluate preliminary plans and formulate recommendations concerning the ideal amount of hotels, their optimal size and positioning. In order to be able to provide these recommendations we had to assess the overall market potential for an upmarket ski resort in Rosa Khutor.
